ROYAL ALBERT  V  LARKHALL THISTLE

Looking forward to our first midweek game which is a nostalgic event for supporters of a certain vintage, and a Jags win against the team who took the first penalty kick in world football.

We need the points to keep our league challenge up but Ive always had a soft spot for the Albert and the efforts of those who keep the club going with such a long history.

ROYAL ALBERT 2 LARKHALL THISTLE 3

At 3-0 up the Jags looked to have the game sewn up but a spirited fightback by the Albert saw them gain 3 penalties, with the Jags keeper sent off for the second, which ironically was saved by one of outfield players forced to go in goal. He then conceded a penalty himself which I thought was a foul on him. 3 points in a very strange game.

A brilliant win for Dalry tonight against Girvan in the relegation dog fight. Now means that Dalry moved up to from 6th bottom to 8th bottom with Vale dropping to 6th bottom and East Kilbride Thistle slipping to 7th Bottom.  Bottom 6 teams will be relegated to division 4.  Think there's going to be more twists and turns before the end

Gow 2 Kello Rovers 2

2-0 up early into second half and contrived to lose two goals and get a man sent off. Happened too many times this season, dropping points from winning position.

Baw is burst regards any lingering hopes of promotion.

Only positive, pies were well good.

I've got to agree about Kello's pies. Top class.

Not a classic by any means but another 3 points.

In a good position with a very good Vale of Clyde team up next at Gasworks on Wednesday

Surprising that the Vics dropped points.

Don't be surprised as we were shite today, lacked creativity and no cutting edge, didn't really trouble home keeper.

Dalry had a game plan which they stubbornly stuck to and could have won at the death from a free kick which forced our keeper into his one and only save of the game.

3 red cards in a game which was a hard slog for both teams.

Have to pick up full points next week before we travel to you guys.

Its hugely tight.  None of the five teams can afford to drop many more points.

BTW I spent 6 very happy years living in Irvine.

Lanark 3 Newmains 0

We played very well from minute 1 today ( in which we should have scored). Created lots of chances and should have won by many more.

2nd v 1st next weekend and an upcoming fixture v VoC. In our own hands..

Looking good for the Jags. A win this coming Wednesday against a very good Vof C team would put us in striking position of the top.

Same for other challengers though, , its so tight.

Next 3 games for are going to go a long way to decide if you go up.  VoC, Gow and Vics.

We've still got AWR, Gow and VoC to play so lots of points to be dropped by the top teams, one way or other.

TOMORROW

LARKHALL THISTLE  V  VALE OF CLYDE

Looking forward to a great clash against a good team. Somethings got to give over the next 2 weeks in this division.

Easy Kilbride 0 - 3 Bellshill athletic

good nights work for Bellshill who somehow went in at 0-0 at half time but two well taken goals straight after half time by Kyle Caig and Kieran markey made the score line more realistic game then finished off with a quick counter put into the net by the Bellshill modric Calvin cowie

2 wins from 2 now for Bellshill after a tough run of fixtures and the team finding from again at the right time of the season onto Saturday and a trip to Dalry

would give a mention for the East Kilbride keeper and young winger number 7 who both played well

was disappointed that there was no food available to purchase in the ground can’t be that difficult for buy in some pies ect for fans to purchase didn’t even have as much as a piece and gammon which is a bit of a slap in the face to fans 🟡⚫🟡⚫

LARKHALL THISTLE 3    VALE OF CLYDE 1

The Jags completed the double over the Vale in a hard- fought pulsating encounter only secure by a last minute penalty.

2-0 at halftime, with Vale scoring a great free-kick just into the second half, and exerting pressure thereafter, a real contest.

Looking good

I have no doubts Vof C will be going up

Good result. Well done. I've fancied VoC to go up as champions so could have done with an away win tonight tbh.  We are there in two weeks time. Every point critical now for the top 5
