Just had a look at the league table on the West of Scotland League page and it is showing both Port Glasgow and Finnart as having played a game more, yet the FB page shows the above table, wonder which one is correct?

The WoSFL website is correct.

Lanark are a good side, but the Jags have now won both fixtures deservedly. We now need to win our games in hand after our Cup run.

Great entertainment yesterday on a quagmire of a pitch.  Nothing between the teams after first 20 minutes yesterday when I thought Larkhall were more pumped up than us initially.

Missing a penalty after half time did not help us when we were definitely on top.

Sucker punch at the end, a goal we shouldn't be losing but we have to take it on the chin and move on. We have played worse and won this season. Larkhall keeper was their MoM with some great saves.

Long way to go and I always prefer points on the board than games in hand.

Have to agree with you re points on the board, but this Larkie team are capable and very determined, and have beaten all the challengers ( AWR excluded ) , including yourselves, ( twice )

Matty is a great keeper, but your keeper had the save of the match in the first half.

Its going to be interesting.

What was the craic with that game, or possibly non game?

Port were awarded a 3-0 walkover result as Finnart were unable to host the match as it was originally scheduled, and mutually agreeable alternative times could not be reached.

Admittedly you don't always get a full picture of a team based on 1 cup game, but having been at Larkhall v Rutherglen last week, you guys looked very impressive. You definitely looked like a side that should be higher than Division 3.

Indeed.

Way higher, the Jags are on the way back, no doubt about it.

Ardrossan WR 3 Gow 1

Disappointing performance from the Gow. Didn't get going today at all, maybe credit to AWR for imposing their game on us and Gow not reacting to it positively.

Didn't help that ref gave a penalty against us that was never a penalty.

AWR keeper wasting time and booked for it with thirty minutes of game to go.

Gow must do much better if they want to remain in the promotion hunt.

The VoC strips are proper nice, not many teams risking/paying out for a bespoke design and are all looking the same.

The Port Glasgow ones from a couple of seasons back were different too. Maybe we need the guy from Loch Ness down to promote them a sell 8000 (or so) units. It’s money waiting to be had for these clubs, not much but will keep the lights on for a bit as there’s enough people who would buy them on looks alone
