That is a hell of a hard run

Is that just fixture computer randomness, or C*ckwomble making sure that we don't gatecrash the Big Three party at the top...

Care to expand, did these two play under McIntyre at he Pars?

You would think with pre-season due to start in the next week or two McIntyre would be looking to get someone in sooner rather than later.

I think pre season training actually starts tomorrow or at the latest Monday.

With regards to Austin McCann and Martin Hardie as potential player-coaches. Both played for Jimmy Mac at Dunfermline.

Austin McCann was subbed in one game at Partick before 1/2 time after a blunder and Martin Hardie was brought in to bolster the midfield after W Gibson was sold to Crawley Town. Both were there as The Pars gained promotion to the SPL. McCann was a Dunfermline captain as I believe was Hardie for a time ( stand to be shot down on this one), of the two my money would be on Hardie if any of the two got the shout (Jimmy Mac seemed to really rate him) but would prefer McCann as a footballing option (Fitness) and team player (Coaching/Playing). All in all just my opinion but doubt either will be seen at Palmerston.

Nicholson has been linked with a coaching role with Fleetwood Town. He'd be an excellent signing but we aren't exactly short of options in the centre of midfield.

Has it actually been confirmed anywhere that McCabe's replacement is going to be a player/coach?

.

Auzzie was our left back and captain while McIntyre was here, worth remembering that McIntyre brought him in and made him captain, a good guy to have around by all accounts, while it's impossible to judge such things I still reckon he'd be a decent coach.

Hardie was in for the last few months of the title winning season and for our Ill faited SPL season, hero for winning the first division.

Just been looking through fixtures. We play Hearts Hibs and Rangers all in the same week in april

Ouch

Aye, BigRubberFist quoted it earlier. Awful run for us. I'd be content with 4 points from that run!

Is it this season that it's compulsory to have squad numbers? If so it will be interesting to see who McIntyre gives the first eleven numbers to. I would expect those to be his preferred staring line up.
