The_Kincardine
This thread is dedicated to @Brother Blades Tomorrow we find out the extent to which we taxpayers of South Bucks are funding the incompetent and mendacious regime in the DPRS. In pre-covid times it was to the extent of £4K per taxpayer per annum and my guess for tomorrow is that it'll be north of £5K. A massive amount. Fiscal transfers are entirely normal, of course, and certainly not to be grudged on either part but one does have to ask what the taxpayer in SCO is getting from this massive subsidy and why ScotGov isn't doing better. You'd think the voters of SCO would try and address this but many are too busy brushing down their Jimmy bunnets for the next AUOB march. Not only is the South Bucks taxpayer subsidising the Yes Favelas of Glasgow and Dundee but, incredibly, is paying the way of the SNP - a party that can't fund itself - via Short money. British taxpayers funding British-hate parties such as Sinn Fein/IRA and their SNP bedfellows must be unique in world politics. So while fiscal transfers are normal there's something rotten in Britain that they are being squandered by a gang in E'burgh. That needs to be addressed as does the whole Short money issue. More tomorrow when ScotGov publishes their own numbers...

Is that one broken? ScotGov publishes its own P&L tomorrow. That's worth a thread. No? Edit for @git-intae-thum. P&L means Profit and Loss - but your definition may be more apt. williemillersmoustache
You're just too poor to be allowed to make your own decisions so we'll have to keep subsidising you, say the c***s who wouldn't subsidise freezing children with the steam aff their pish.

Billy Jean King
So we will see the "benefits" of staying within the union layed bare today. Remember the huge benefits of remaining, so surely in this union of equals today's figures should be glowing ???If the good citizens of South Bucks are moaning we all know the answer, it's staring us all in the face.
