Completely missed that he was still at Killie! Can’t believe he’s got another crack at the premiership after being part of the Dunfermline collapse last season. Genuinely expected him to be turning out for a Dunfermline/Falkirk level of club this season…watch him stick one in the top corner tomorrow now.

Can't wait to see Mrs Polworth's musings on the socials should this unlikely event come to pass. Motherwell>Kilmarnock>Dunfermline>Kilmarnock. Her climb through the countries most idyllic locations seems to have run a bit off kilter since escaping the 'shithole' we call home that she described. Although, as far as I'm aware, they still live in a new development on the outskirts of Motherwell, so she obvs loves the 'Shire really. Bet she's actually looking forward to a good old catch up wi Flao and co. in the players lounge after the game tomorrow.

Anyway, 1-2 scoreline. Van Veen and Goss with a 30 yarder doing the business for us, while Big Weird will get his obligatory counter against us as a consolation for Killie.

Good to see an unchanged XI after a run of decent results, which was unthinkable under Alexander…both the results and the consistency in selection.
Disappointed we wont get to see McKinstry today though.

Entertaining first half. Chuffed to get in ahead as Killie really came into it after about 30 mins and had some good chances. They should really have equalised. Need to step it back up a gear in the second half and get Spittal and Van Veen back on the ball higher up the park. Big Ricki Lamie has been excellent so far.

Showing some poor defending at the end of that half. Either not clearing the ball right or just not marking players/attempting to make a tackle. So much space been given away that shouldn't be.

Could easily be 1-1 already so hopefully that isn't the case in the second half.
