SLClyde
Alloa will be on a high after last weeks thumping of Peterhead, whilst we’ve lost 2 on the road. 2 home games in a row so need to be looking at minimum 4 points from them. Jordan Allan back in from the start please.
Ignoramus
We’ve got the current top three coming after this so could be doing with putting the losing skid in the rear view mirror before we hit that stretch. I agree that Allan should be up there with Cunningham, they linked up well in the Peterhead game before Allan got his red card. Wonder if Thicot will get a start given the reports last week - wasn’t there myself - if he does, I’d imagine it’ll be for Sula although P Grant seemed to be the one struggling by all accounts.
Kevchenko
Wee preview of tomorrow’s game in this weeks podcast, preview starts from about 20 minutes in and @Adolfo Rios joins us later on for some Clyde perspective. https://waspsnest.buzzsprout.com/
David W
Big game for us, need to try and keep things positive and another defeat would spoil that. Hopefully we go back to playing a back four as the 3 at the back hasn't worked at all. If that means two of the centre halves are benched, so be it.
RutherGlen
Expecting a tough game but hoping to see Allan start with the big man (Thicot) at the back. I predict a hard fought 2-1 home win.
FREDDYFRY
Bad feeling about today, although I usually do about most games these days.
BWAClyde
Would Peter Grant at left back be terrible?
Waspie
Will be interesting to see what Rice does with the line up after winning 5-0 last week but with 3 new signings having come in and perhaps others back from injury. Our record against Clyde last season was horrific, but there was at least the slight consolation of knowing it enraged Ferguson and highlighted his bizarre handling of Parry. That doesn't apply anymore and hopefully we can do much better here than we managed at Broadwood last year.
Jaggy Snake
6 minutes ago, BWAClyde said: Would Peter Grant at left back be terrible? Yes, considering he's not even been comfortable at left centreback. If we're going that route, either Sula or Thicot would be more suited to leftback.

You'd argue it's hard to change a winning team, but with the new signings it'll be interesting. Rice said his formations usually based on the opponent's. Not sure he'll have Stanger and Devine at CB together, unless we go back to a back three. Graham is so good at reading the game and you can hear him shouting instructions to others all the time, an experienced head with the two young CBs would be ideal. Also depends if Durnan is fit or not I guess. Hope O'Donnell keeps his place, deserves it after his performance last week
haufdaft
Would Peter Grant at left back be terrible?Absolutely terrible.Detective Frank Cannon would be faster over 10 yards.
Replays
For all he had a great start, Parry’s chucked in two goals in the last two games. Edited September 3, 2022 by Scott-Replay
bullyweehutch
Do we think Lyons will be able to put in 1 decent cross this season?
bullyweehutch
How's he missed that!?
David W
Soft goal from Lyons pathetic concession of the corner, Parry's silly attempts to come for it and then watching the ball bounce in. After that we have been the better side and Alloa are exceptionally lucky to have eleven men on the pitch.
bullyweehutch
Agree Alloas #5 should be off. Definitely grew into the game after yet another comedy goal at the start
Replays
Graham should absolutely have been sent off. Very lucky to escape any punishment when he pulled back Allan on his way through for his dreadful miss. Definite booking for hacking down Ray Grant too. After a dreadful start we’ve grown into the game to become the better side and should be ahead. Naturally, we’ll lose this one!
Replays
Another rubbish goal. Lennon raging as it came from a rotten kick out and a rubbish ball from Rodden.
