CambieBud
So, as predicted, Walsh makes sure there is no possibility of a contest. Does anyone seriously believe that VAR will make the slightest difference? this season alone, New Rangers have benefited from at least 3 decisions that ultimately decided matches at Ibrox. against Ross County, a clear sending off not given at 0-0. Against Dundee Utd, a last minute penalty for Utd when 2-1 down. Not given. yesterday, an unbelievable soft penalty at 1-0.
Bobby_F
Just saw that penalty. One of the worst I’ve seen given. Even to Rangers. Even at Ibrox. Not a single person claiming for it!
TheScarf
I’m guessing there was a danger of St Mirren equalising, hence the Rangers penalty?

How can they get beat 4 - 0 by such a poor team, yet can effortlessly beat angeball 2 - 0? Give me fucking strength.
Ric
To be fair to Bennet, we can't really claim they are either side of the arse cheek, while simultaneously claim they shouldn't compare their games against us. We had the same formation and strategy, albeit different personnel, in both games against the OF, with clearly different results. The whataboutery that does my nut in would be along the lines of, "yes you got a penalty against you, but it's evened out because we were denied when we played <insert other team>", as if football relies on some sort of 'holistic karma'. Doesn’t even it up for them, does it?

We've had some soft penalties in the past and I didn't use them to excuse Walsh's decision on Saturday.
Kempes
Seems to be the newest unwritten law of the game in the SPFL: “The referee must give a penalty against St Mirren. “ I’m losing count already and we’re only in October.

TBF the one Livingston were awarded can't be argued against.
