ICTChris Posted December 15, 2022 Share Posted December 15, 2022 A number of chimpanzees have been shot dead today after they escaped in Furivik Zoo in Sweden. At least eight chimps made it out if their enclosure into the main part of the zoo. Tragically four chimps have been shot dead by zoo authorities, who have claimed they ran out of tranquilliser darts. Another chimp was hit but wounded and three are still loose in the zoo, being tracked by drones. One of the chimps killed was Santino, favourite chimp if Swedish Crown Princesses Victoria and Madeline. Santino liked to paint and also hit the headlines for preparing piles of rocks to throw at visitors to the zoo.
