peasy23
Can the Bills score 2 TDs without conceding any more points? Doesn't look likely on what we've seen so far.
Dirty Sanchez
I'm watching on Sky for a change. Jason Bell sounds like he's pontificating from a pulpit every time he opens his mouth. I wonder his inner voice is as shouty as that.
PB1994
Without trying to go all VAR but surely if you are checking that for a TD you have a look to see if they get the snap off before the play clock hit 0?
Boo Khaki
Be a shame when the Bills move out of Rich Stadium. That's an awesome shot. Iconic classic NFL football stadium.

Just typical that Cinci catch Buffalo on a bad day so the AFC Championship Game is in KC You could argue Buffalo had a bad day last week but got away with it too tbf.

It's a two score game and still more than a quarter to play. Maybe if you're in the no mans land on the opponent 35-45, but not when a fail leaves Cinci already in FG range.
peasy23
That penalty probably kills the game. Even if the Bengals only get 3 points, a 3 score game looks well out of reach for the Bills.

Boo Khaki
Never understood why DB's grab like that on a deep throw on 3rd down. You are gonna get flagged for it every time and give up a heap of yards. Cinci are likely gonna score a FG at worst and make it a 3 score game anyway, so you may as well keep your hand off the WR and hope he doesn't get to the ball or drops it. Keep saying this over and over, but NFL DB's and WR's time and time again display absolutely no situational intelligence whatsoever. Seems if you van run sub 4.6 40 yards you can get away with being as thick as mince.

It took the Bengals 5 plays to get back to where they would have been if they'd gone for it and not got it. Just an absolute shoeing up and down the field. Hope the Bengals win it all, didn't want them to last year as I thought they'd fluked their way through a bit but they're a very good team, would fancy them in KC next week as well.
Boo Khaki
Yeah. Short of something daft like a quick Buffalo TD then Cinci fumbling it away in their own half they're not turning this around.

Yip, but by punting it away they gave the D 2-3 chances to get off the field and keep it to 14. The D failed, but if you don't get the 1st down in that situation you are putting Cinci in scoring range straight away an effectively ending the game.

Seems if you van run sub 4.6 40 yards you can get away with being as thick as mince. FYI: “Below, you’ll find the average Wonderlic scores listed according to the position. As you can see, the average score for NFL players overall is about a 20, so despite their reputations, football players, on the whole, aren’t any more or less intelligent than the general population. You should also notice how there is a wide range in scores. There is a whopping 10-point difference in score between the average halfback and offensive tackle. The data shows that the more offensive the position, the higher the score. While it must take a lot of skill to play defense, the numbers show that offensive plays need considerably more focus and creativity. More interesting still, offensive tackles, and centers generally score higher than quarterbacks even though it seems as if the quarterback does a lot of the decision-making. As it turns out, centers and offensive tackles are crucial to a team’s success. The center knows the playbook just as well as the quarterback. After all, he needs to tell each of his linemen which player to target. It’s him that puts his teammates in a position to score and sets the quarterback up for success. Oh, and he also needs to know how to move quickly enough to defend himself from a 350-pound rushing defender. Offensive tackles consistently receive the highest Wonderlic scores. Once seen as faceless shields, offensive tackles have become some of the most highly sought-after players in the NFL. Responsible for covering anyone the guard does not when the tight end goes out for a pass, offensive tackles need to have a sharp eye and a quick mind. As Michael Lewis explains in his book The Blind Side, the salary of these players skyrocketed in the ’90s when coaches began to realize how crucial these players were to the team’s overall success. Offensive Tackle: 26 Center: 25 Quarterback: 24 Guard: 23 Tight end: 22 Safety: 19 Linebacker: 19 Cornerback: 18 Wide Receiver: 17 Fullback: 17 Halfback: 16 Systems analyst – 32 Chemist – 31 Electrical engineer – 30 Engineer – 29 Programmer – 29 Accountant – 28 Executive – 28 Reporter – 28 Teacher – 28 Copywriter – 27 Investment analyst – 27 Librarian – 27 Electronics technician – 26 Salesperson – 25 Secretary – 24 Dispatcher – 23 Drafter – 23 Electrician – 23 Nurse – 23 Bank teller – 22 Cashier – 21 Firefighter – 21 Clerical worker – 21 Machinist – 21 Receptionist – 21 Train conductor – 21 Craftsman – 18 Security guard – 17 Welder – 17 Warehouseman – 15 Janitor – 14”
