While we announced a record high turnover of £8m and over £5m in the bank.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that. Well that does make a difference. How on earth have you managed that?

It was a record turnover, which is different from a profit or loss, just the money coming in. No idea what their bottom line was, just seems to be comparing apples with oranges.

Well, he was comparing turnover to profit/loss so it seems acceptable in this situation 😂

So what's wrong with  turnover, Profit then money in the bank????

There’s nothing wrong with turnover, but comparing it to a profit or loss is comparing apples with oranges. Everyone has a positive turnover.

Bobby Sands still deid according to the Sevco songbook pre match

In the year 2023

I always have a laugh to myself when I watch a Rangers game, sometimes when they are getting beat, and the fans start singing songs about guarding walls in a town in a different country. That must really fire up the players from places like Zambia and Croatia. If only the people singing it could realise how sad they look to everyone else that has managed to drag themselves into the 21st century, but they never will.

The level of stupidity from the Old Firm on social media about this game takes it to new levels.

Claims of the boycot being "eMbArRaSsInG" etc etc. While those muppets continue to be fine with having the piss taken out of them. Saints could have charged double and they still would blindly go along with it under the facade of "loyal".

Other claims of the boycott didn't work because they made the same amount of money because of the number of Rangers fans is miles wide of the mark as well.

The boycott wasn't to cost the club money. The boycott gave the club a complete PR disaster and taught them the lesson that we will not be so easily dismissed, lied to and frankly treated like shit. They've learned that the hard lesson.

Every Facebook group I have had the bad luck to read on this issue over the last week has honestly pushed me closer to hoping for an imminent comet-based extinction level event.

Still, the Saints' fans must have been delighted with the level of attendance yesterday.

Of course they will be. Probably by about 1,000 fans the lowest EVER home support for a competitive game at McDiarmid Park and potentially the lowest ever home support to watch the team play a meaningful match.

Message well and truly sent to the hierarchy, who won't always have 7,000 away fans to bail them out.

Enjoyed watching the way team played at home for the first time in absolutely ages. Phillips, MacPherson and indeed several others set a standard for themselves now. One swallow though.
