The midfield was invisible for most of the game, we need Gogic back in there particularly now that Erhahon’s away. Sad to say I don't think Hoppe did much of anything, genuinely would have been better with McKirdy but that's a very snap judgement. Perhaps we gained something from the St Mirren defenders thinking he'd be more of a presence than he ended up being. Happy to see Youann get another goal, making it a habit and seemed to engage will with the supporters so that's all positive. Going to the Dortmund game on Tuesday, would be nice to see the lads win and progress but equally if they fail to do so hopefully we'll see more of them in the first team in the coming weeks. St Mirren didn't seem to offer much but I'd add that the referee did seem to miss a couple of fouls that should have gone their way, Campbell controlling with his hand once or twice in the middle of the park spring to mind, but nothing game changing. Ultimately the only bit of decent football that broke out in the second half resulted in a well created and well taken goal. Carson and Marshall could have had their pipe and slippers out in the 2nd half, given the dearth of creativity. Nothing of controversy to discuss. I'd argue he doesn't look like he's got much of an end product but he took his goal superbly. Marcus Fraser is still looking for him. Main had to score his chance. The weather ruined the first 60 mins or so. Just about back to normal body temperature now .
