Never a red card in a million centuries. Its a shambles that the only replay the ref sees is the slow motion and stills. Totally takes the challenge out of context. The fact two highly qualified referees think that should warrant a sending off baffles me.

tintax
Absolutely brutal. On that showing we are going down. No attacking fluency to that performance or sustained pressure at any point. Only positive of relegation will be the end of Mackay
DrewDon
Any remotely competent official on VAR looks at that for about five seconds and tells the referee to get on with the game. What an embarrassment.
Loemba90
Just saw the second half, Aberdeen looked comfortable. Never a red card.
Jacksgranda
Delighted with the 3 points, marred somewhat by the sending off.

As someone said, the County boy has ran into a challenge he was never winning then fallen down like a little hoor. Some Arbroath no mark loser did the same the other night to get Jay Henderson sent off.
lubo_blaha
A hard fought win. Not at our best but we defended our box really well. County could’ve flung the ball in the box all night, they weren’t scoring. They got in decent positions but didn’t test Roos. Credit to Robson and the coaching staff for solidifying the defence and to whoever was involved in recruiting Pollock and MacDonald. Incredibly damning on Goodwin and Stewart when you see where we are now.

But it's neither. He kicks him and It was a foul, that's all. I honestly dont even think its a foul. Its two players going for the ball and one clearly wins it ahead of the other. If anything its Baldwin thats been daft going into a challenge he is never winning. Its a genuine lack of understanding of how feet work when you kick a ball. Nonsense.
RandomGuy.
Was the same with Nicky Clarks red for us at Ibrox, presumably youre meant to make your leg invisible the moment you connect with the ball.
Bobby_F
I thought Andy Walker was clueless then checked here and realised he’s not the only one. First angle just looked like a foul. From the side he clearly caught the RC player full on on the shin. For those saying “where else could he put his foot” the reason he got the red card is precisely because - having gone in like that - the only place his studs could have gone was his opponents shin. It was a reckless challenge that endangered an opponent. Red card all day in 2023. Loved at the end of the first half when Duk pushed a County Player over, then grabbed his shirt and threw himself to the deck and was awarded a foul “clear foul, that’s Duk using his physique “ -
Munoz
Definitely a red.

He has to control his foot and not put it into an opponent. if he could nto do that hen he was out of control.

The County player simply lost but had gone in the same.
Stephen Malkmus
Good to hear that ICT's Scottish Cup winning captain, King Graeme Shinnie, took it upon himself to dish out some justice once the game had been won.
Rcfc fan
Aberdeen defended brilliantly even though we lacked creativity with the mountain of free kicks and corners , aberdeen unlucky not to have another goal or two , Duk is an absolute class act, think smith for us was the most solid cb out our 3 which is both encouraging and concerning, missed iacovitti and brophy.
kingjoey
That was not a red card and worth an appeal.
