Ok, it's time for me to bow out of this conversation as I am only setting myself as a target despite trying to be helpful and informative.

Why in the hell do we as a forum always end up in-fighting?

Even when singing from the same hymn sheet.

This is how the establishment always wins.

Stop it faither has spoken.

Ignore the oddballs that would rather look edgy than hear what is actually happening.

We know what's happening.

Next summer the entire Wosfl will be relegated with the Conference slotted in two Tiers above the Wosfl.

And you wonder why some Junior Clubs were reluctant to join this ponsi scheme, eh,sorry pyramid scheme.

An understandable response considering all that's going on.

But, there have been positives. The many spectator ground improvements across the West, the expansion with the introduction of new clubs, the vibrancy that exists with the new leagues, a simplified single west cup and the successes in the Big Scottish.

Yes there has been negatives too; b teams, lack of upwards movement and the Junior Cup being relegated to a smaller competition.

It's early days for the new West so don't give up on it yet.

There is a WoSFL General Meeting tomorrow night and the clubs will be informed of the current situation.

Not asking you to get involved again. But would it be possible to provide us with any info from tonight's meeting, and then bowing out again, obviously without betraying any trusts or putting yourself in any legally awkward position.

Oh ye, pretty please. 😇😇

Just asking as an interested, paying fan of non league football who are normally ignored and kept in the dark cause we don't matter.

Yes that is an attempt at emotional blackmail.

It was the SJFA who insisted on dragging everyone across, some against their better judgement.

The birth of the WOSFL was poorly handled by the blazers, it looked as if those against the move would have been left with almost nowhere to play if they didn't move across.

It wasn't handled much better in the East to be honest. After the initial move, we were left with the West Lothian Diehards, a small Fife contingent and those above the Maginot Line who were left hanging without a second thought.

It shows for me that the pyramid should have been controlled and organised by a governing body setup to oversee the whole pyramid. Not the hotch potch way it has grown and the bar-steward it has become.

Where such an organisation would come from God alone knows. As what we have at the moment is not fit for purpose.

Completely agree, the overwhelming need for a central governing body should be the overriding priority…….sadly it won’t even be considered.

It's actually quite despairing for us fans, club officials and players at non league level.

Every single person involved at non league make no money out the game. It is for the love of football, their clubs, their communities.

Then you get these clowns who are making a living from our game doing their level best to kill it. And why? For their own selfish advancement. May they all rot downstairs with the fallen angel.

Tbf to the West blazers (did i really post that) they were facing a mutiny on the Bounty from a number of top clubs.

The panicked ran to the LL and Eosfl.

The LL were never going to say, "hello lads we're about to slap you about like a damp cloth".

What did your average punter think who watched Junior games on a Saturday really think was going to happen?

Most of us thought because we believed the West Region to be the greatest wee league set up in the world that firstly Talbot win the league and secondly Talbot win the playoffs.

And so it would go on until the top 6 had left for pastures new.

All would be as it should.

Guess what, we got a shut eye.

The top kiddies from the East must laugh at us.

Without one Wosfl club getting up we're about to be shafted again.

The entire Wosfl will be relegated next summer.

You couldn't make that up.

Well your top dogs lost to Tranent last season, and even if the Champions of all three tier 6 leagues were auto promoted to the LL this season, it looks like the WoSFL Champs wouldn't be eligible anyway.

So let's not kid ourselves that the WoSFL have in some way been shafted any more so than any other league, opportunities have been there for two west clubs to have been in the LL (and beyond) next season.  Nobody else is to blame for that.

The WoSFL the last two seasons isn't any different to what the WRJFA would have been anyway, except one of your clubs had the chance to beat Aberdeen and make headlines.

The Conference is an utter shit show dreamt up by Maxwell on the back of a fag packet, and nobody saw B teams on the horizon nor the LL's "one season only" deal. We can only hope it gets voted down.
