SPFL League 1 Play Off Semi Final: East Fife v Clyde/Clyde v East Fife

Recommended Posts

Having watched the whole stream from Clyde tv the coverage of the first half in the highlights is a laughable misrepresentation.

Don’t think the first yellow for Shepherd was a correct decision but he can have no complaints about the second.

That's true, but then is that not the reward for finishing higher up the league? The higher placed teams get the 2nd leg at home and therefore get the slight advantage of playing ET at home.

Agree, that seems the fairest thing, but that can't always have been the case.

Previously, when we reached the play off final, we were 9th in League 1, fighting to avoid relegation. Our 2nd leg was away to Peterhead, whom we beat after extra time, then penalties.

The SFA are the administrators of the play-offs between club 42 and the winners of the Highland/ Lowland leagues. Different rules

We were club 31 on that occasion.

1st leg Bayview, 2nd Peterhead.
