TheScarf
Do away goals still count here like they do in the league?
thistledo
That was tremendously good fun on Friday. Well and truly putting the hoodoo over televised games to bed now I think. I think some Ayr fans are being a bit harsh on their side, two good saves from Mitchell, particularly the one near the start from Maguire I think? If that goes in it's a totally different game. We lost 3 goals to a QP side who lost Murray midway through the season, I don't think a single Thistle fan will be thinking this is done and dusted. Having said that, I think we're class going forward and probably should have had 4 or 5, that's the way Doolan likes to play and can't see us doing anything different on Friday, which I think will mean a few goals from both sides if Akinyemi is back... Hopefully he isn't.

thistledo
What about the best pub grub in Ayr, never actually had anything other than drink when i'm down there, except pies in the Wallace which were very good. But chances are I'll be going down earlier and fancy sampling what culinary delights Ayr has to offer. Taking a break from quinoa and artisan bread etc...

North British 2
The Goat is a good shout but you also have The Meridian up near the station which is decent .

Well you have the ghillie dhu and Meridean at the top of town just next to train station . Arthur Street kitchen also fits the bill .

Tempura on Parkhouse St is my current favourite. Not great if you don't like tempura though.

Reid
1200 tickets left for the Railway End so unlikely we’ll sell it out. How many does it hold?
