bennett
Glasgow BMW driver furious after potholes ruin two tyres as she forks out £300 Originally from Glasgow, Kavita Bhardwaj experienced damage to two tyres, from two different potholes, on two different occasions due to 'craters' on Glasgow streets. One of the incidents left her having to abandon her car overnight due to many garages in Glasgow being closed due to the bank holiday. The incidents happened in January and May of this year. When she went to claim compensation back from the council, Kavita was told there would be a six month wait to hear back which made her 'give up.

Probably leasing it/renting it or whatever the f**k they do for about £500 a month, amazes me where people get the money from for this carry on. Thank you.
Swarley
No compo face attached to story, 0/10 Daily Record Fuming couple blast 'shameful' fish supper which 'ruined their anniversary' Typically "no energy" to complain at the time, but plenty of energy to complain online later on.

So they paid £15 in a sit-in restaurant for two cans of Coke (probably at least £2 each) and what is then most likely a regular sized fish supper which at about £10-11 would not be a kick in the arse off what you'd pay at a takeaway but here has the sit-in premium, when they've only ordered for one instead of two as well. Nothing to see here.

If you're going for a ruined anniversary, do it right. Scots couple's dream cruise for 25th wedding anniversary ruined after suitcases lost Suitcases lost, and a compo face from hospital? That's right! The stress of it caused an IBS flare up, apparently.

If they had travel insurance they could have claimed it back for the baggage and got another cruise for the £3000, theyre fucking at it.

Probably part of the "I'm not paying £x for insurance, I'll just beg off people on the Internet if something bad happens" brigade.

True! But that said given most bank accounts include it for a small fee theres very little excuse other than being a tight c**t to not have an annual policy (unless theres health exclusions?). They would have got all the clothes they had to buy covered, plus they got upgraded and £3000 id say that one of the best results ive ever seen from a delayed bag, yet there they are moaning.

If they want to be taken seriously they should have words like "HELP" and "SEND LAGER" in the windows made out of Post-It notes like students in halls of residence did during COVID lockdown.
