Can't believe this needs said but if they're not in a state to remember if they consented, then that's not consent. You absolute danger.

Partick and Inverness are skint, Ayr had a good season but looked rotten in the playoffs, Dunfermline will be up there I'm sure. Maybe someone unexpected. Raith Rovers seem to be signing well. Depends how much Queens Park are willing or able to spend. In summary: no fucking idea QP aren’t spending on players. That’s why Coyle left.
Ray Patterson
It's interesting this season. United will be favourites, which is often a poison chalice in this division as we've seen over the past few years. As for who will challenge us, Inverness and Thistle are both broke, Ayr are spending money on ground redevelopment. Morton are a dark horse, but again finances are tight at Cappielow. Think the surprise package will be Raith, new investment, a decent manager in Ian Murray as well, the signings they've made look decent. As for us, it'll come down to key moments like in 2019-20 when we had Shankland dig us out at the death at home to Arbroath, when in 2017-18 we drew at home to the worst ever side at this level. It's all academic until we sign someone, and get rid of Mulgrew and Edwards, as it seems we're losing out on many of the key targets

Dodds was fairly unlucky with a load of injuries throughout the season and when he had a fully fit squad to choose from they weren't bad at all. Thistle is probably depending on how many players they lose over the summer. Dunfermline maybe a wild card depending how they strengthen.
invergowrie arab
I'll be putting EW on Dunfermline. A team that is used to winning and will surely have a budget that's at least a match to anyone else except maybe us. Most teams look like they will be weaker than last year and God only knows what we will spunk our money on.

It's all academic until we sign someone, and get rid of Mulgrew and Edwards, as it seems we're losing out on many of the key targets We are actually in a decent place financially. We have a major partnership with Dalrada who are sponsoring the stadium, our strips etc for significant sums as well as 120-150k every year from MCT( Morton Club Together). Weve also pretty much matched our season tickets from last season with 2 months to go. Add in unexpected prize money from top 5 finish( think we budget for 9th), celtic gate money, increased crowds etc and we are sitting ok. Dougie had a relegation budget 12 months ago, I'm sure it will be a lot more attractive this season. Wouldn't say we will be a challenger( not yet anyway) but id expect us to be in and around top 4 as we have kept most of the squad from last year, potentially only losing Grimshaw and our keeper, who is easily replaceable. We had the best home record in the league last year and second best defence. If we can do similar again, we should have a good season.
