He's been a great addition for us. Still a year left on his deal at Hibs I think so remains to be seen if he'll be back with us. FWIW some players do better at certain clubs than others, *Ken Eadie must have been one of the most prolific strikers in the lower leagues bar none in years gone by yet he couldn't kick his own arse with us. Was it the manager/ style of play? Possibly. I'll caveat that by saying your man Mumbongo still looks as pish at QoS as he did with you. * unless we were playing Motherwell!

Maybe even the odd cup run. However I would take less than that if it meant club security for an extended period.

Sounds to me at least one Accies fan has woken up & smelling coffee about financial challenges you are facing, which will be seriously exacerbated if you don’t get up via playoffs.

Your club currently are set to have one of the best seasons in their history and will go down as one of the best league 1 teams in history especially if you go unbeaten and you could officially have won the league by 5PM tomorrow how are you celebrating this? Constantly making up things that aren't true in a Hamilton accies thread? -

As for the accuracy of your second point, well only time will tell whose perspective is on the mark Ian.

Balde Bairn
I hope you actually start showing Rankin a bit of credit. That’s a fantastic run Hamilton are on at the moment and to be on that points tally is actually very respectable. I don’t think you could realistically expect to do much better than that. -
StuartA
Unpopular opinion, but Hamilton might be daft to sack Rankin if they fail in the play offs. They’re far and away better than the 8 clubs underneath them and it’s difficult to see Arbroath being that strong. A whole lot of upheaval and expense otherwise.

I’ve heard a Company called Halls? are putting up cash for buying The Stadium. Some of Serif’s men already working at The Stadium. However, there are quite a few whispers doing the rounds McGowan still has control of The Spice of Life Stand which is hard to believe tbh. Apparently that was why Stirling fans were not located behind the goal. All Chinese whispers of course.

Speculation there may be a tie up with them as they are also Turkish owned.

I've seen that Bournemouth have done some partnership with Hibs recently be interesting to see if something similar is going to happen with us and Hull.
Accie1
There was some talk of Hull's owner buying us if we had stayed in the Championship last year so perhaps not too far off. Think he and Serif may be friends.

There will be a fee due if Lewis moves on. Obviously dependant on the transfer fee paid. Six figure sum supposedly.
Ye Olde Hamiltonian
Heard earlier from a friend of one of the Board that Hull City putting up the money for buying The Stadium and in return they get first refusal on any players/ youngsters we sell on. Also talk of a pre season tournament to mark the 150th Anniversary with Accies,Hull City and 2 foreign teams.
Todd_is_God
How to celebrate the 150th Anniversary is a tough one tbh. We’ve never won anything of note, our only competitive game v a side from outside of Scotland was last year, and we were regularly in the same league as the “big” sides just 3 years ago so there’s no draw there. There’s no obvious answer, and no way to please everyone. Getting the playing kit right is essential, though. As is winning the League if we don’t get through the playoffs.
