FREDDYFRY
Suppose if we go down we will have a chance of one good go at coming back. Parachute payment and hopefully still external funding? If we can actually attract players of course. After that it’s a pretty near impossible task unless we had an income generating home.
Bully Wee Villa
We have seemed woefully unable to attract players in League Two, can't see them rushing to sign for the honour of rocking up at University of Stirling, Hearts B and whatever Edusports are called this week. Not giving automatic relegation to (at least) the worst team in League Two is ridiculous. We need to make sure we benefit from that rule this year or we will be suffering from it for years/decades/until we go out of business.
JIMMY CHOO
The walls are closing in and the board have been caught sleeping at the wheel. The likelihood is we will play against east Kilbride in a playoff and does anybody fancy our chances against them. If by some miracle of chance we get ourselves out of this mess then what happens next as it will be the same people in charge and history will repeat itself.
realmadrid
6 hours ago, clyde_r_us said: if the worst happens and we end up in the lowland league, will anyone stay a supporter That is one of the strangest questions ive seen on here ever People stayed Clyde supporters when they were relegated from the Championship and league 1, its not England with the fake tourist fans from Asia who only support a team in the Premier League. The clubs issue is not having a home, without that there is no hope of getting any new fans in Hamilton and like many organisations such as a church the members (supporters) can only be getting older and passing away so the support will fall to a point that the club in its present form cannot exist. It was obvious from the outside that trying to sign quality from the bottom of the league would be hard but i still think at this stage what you have signed should be enough to get you to 8th or 9th. You should then have a seasons grace as Edinburgh City will be club 42 next season if they keep to the promise of living within their means . Getting past this season is the understandable priority but after May there has to be a push to get back to Glasgow , even in a rented ground and put down some roots again or some of the prophets of doom on here will be correct. Can anyone imagine watching players that are even worse than the jobbers we have already been watching in the 1st half of this season, it’s not for me, sorry. -

No wonder Clyde are fucked if this is the attitude of some of their fans.

ScottR96
I wouldn’t go as far as POTC but I’d certainly be having 2nd thoughts about renewing my season ticket unless there was an option to exclude games against B teams. I also have no interest in watching us against universities, and the likes of “Caledonian Braves” or “Cumbernauld Colts”. If, and for me it remains an if, we go down then it’ll be 100% deserved but I don’t think these are unreasonable positions. People who have had to endure the last few season are more than entitled to see relegation into the most embarrassing, tinpot league in the pyramid as the final straw. Pride Of The Clyde
Each to their own, if anyone wants to continue watching dross fair play to them. Don’t try and play up the lowland league, the quality in league 2 is bad enough nevermind the fcuking LL.

Having played in both, I can tell you that the difference is huge. You can tell that even just by watching. The fact you're comparing the two means you don't understand. No one is talking up the Lowland League. It's a big drop off, and embarrassing - but we deserve it if we go down. Unfortunately I've been a Clyde fan all my life and this has been coming for us since the pyramid opened up. Since I chucked playing on Saturdays there aren't many games I've missed by choice, but I agree that I wouldn't be going to the B team games. I'd rather buy my tickets individually and put money into the club via another route. Edited February 2 by Brian Carrigan

Players are paid at all levels in the East of Scotland league down to tier 9 (Linton Hotspurs were not this season but are next ) and id take a flyer that they are all the way to tier 10 in the west so by dropping to the lowland league you would only be half way to being a league above the amateurs.
