Weirdly his disciplinary record last season was perfect, not a single booking. However the previous 2 years he had 5 reds and 14 yellows combined, so he's definitely got it in him! McCabe maybe had a word after his ridiculous record in his first season - 3 reds by November - and he calmed a bit. He is a very Mortony type player though, can see him doing pretty well there. Interested to see how many games he plays, can only assume the club didn't have much confidence in his fitness hence the 1 year deal. If he's in and out the Morton team then the club will be proven right, if he plays every week no problem then we might regret it (assuming the contract length is actually the reason he's left). It’s going to be a new look defence next season, and likely quite a young too, but he was excellent in his previous loan spell and I’m happy with him behind them. McCabe clearly rates him very highly and given he seemed to attend plenty of games, I’d imagine Murray Johnson is pretty happy to be back too.
