Superb from young Watson and Vassell.

Grim performance and have really rode our luck today, but if we come away with 3 points and a clean sheet it's been a very good day at the office.

A very new squad and nowhere near full strength. It'll dae.

Encouraging performance, in spite of the scoreline/result. Think 2-0 flatters Killie massively, gifted them the first, 2nd was a great strike though.

Otherwise, have to be happy with how we accounted for ourselves. Gutted Tod didn’t get his goal, keeper made a quality save for that shot (otherwise thought their keeper was quite poor though, indecisive and poor distribution).

Not sure what our chances of progression will be now, but don’t care all too much, if I had to choose between that and getting everyone else into the season fit and healthy I’ll take the latter.

He any relation to the Andy Tod who played with you in the 90s? Or just a weird coincidence?

As others have said, he’s the son of Andy Tod. Turned 17 in February and that was his first competitive start. I believe he has 2 younger brothers in our academy as well.

Euan Anderson and Fraser Murray hope your next shites are hedgehogs.

However if someone could get a video of Derek McInnes crying over a throwin that would be appreciated.

Anyway onto Coatbridge, a win probably sees us good enough to be a best runner up

I was trying to think what it was about Killie that made them so unlikeable. Didn't have to think hard when their fans appeared here. Was the same when they had to slum it in the Championship. Still seem to think they have Steve Clarke in charge. Weird.

Very unclassy in defeat. Not a good look.

Happy with our general play today. Thought we were the better side in general play but the game is about scoring goals, which Killie did when presented with a chance and we didn't.

We are still 3-4 signings short for the start of the season and have a some key players out injured. If we get the right signings (more quality in attacking areas required) in and get key players back, we will do well this season.
