HibeeJibee
Hibs B 0-3 TNS tonight had totally passed me by. It was played 6pm at Meadowbank. I see several more R1/R2 crowds have belatedly appeared in SPFL website, must include near-record lows: 275 Brora v Aberdeen B 273 Spartans v Rangers B 269 Stenhousemuir v Rangers B 222 Clyde v Uni of Stirling 202 Kilmarnock B v Bonnyrigg (Kilmarnock website says 181) 200 Tranent v Motherwell B 157 Albion Rovers v Tranent 116 Dundee B v Buckie 107 Hibs B v Formartine 98 Uni of Stirling v Livingston B

accies1874
This game is in serious doubt now. Edinburgh Airport's runway is fucked apparently so might be no flight for the players.

Runway open now, but the incoming flight was diverted to Glasgow. Plane still needs to get from Glasgow to Edinburgh, then to Belfast and obviously onwards to Coleraine

Just to clarify; I looked for the game on iPlayer hoping it would be BBC Scotland or Alba but it’s still the SC4 broadcast on there too. So whichever option you choose, it’ll still be Welsh commentators.

They usually have English commentary on the red button on S4C football, probably didn't get the rights for this.

Accies1
Considering we barely have 1000 fans, taking over a quarter of them to Coleraine is a decent effort. Despite the club doing their best to ruin the day due to their lack of preparedness and needing their lunch, it was a great day. It might be the diddy cup but this competition has really helped us over a tough couple of seasons. Dysart
Sums up that toxic club that they are actually using international commitments as an excuse to postpone a Challenge Cup game involving their B team. Seem to recall in their second division days them trying to get a game against Cowdenbeath postponed for the same reason.

They got a match at Forfar moved to midweek & just so Sevco's players could be properly rested (before taking on a team of part timers, who many would've worked a shift at their day-jobs), booked into Carnoustie Golf hotel, so they could have an afternoon sleep! Yet they couldn't even pay what they were due a face-painter!

There are a lot more than 1,000 fans.Issue is the previous regime lost us 60% of our support and we need to try to get them back. There were quite a few folk there on Saturday who have dropped off going to the games.Hopefully, they got a taste for it again after Saturday and start coming back on a regular basis. As per the above picture, there were quite a few in the seats and the uncovered terrace at the side and adding folk with complimentary tickets/home end tickets(there were a few with these) and over 300 is good going-especially as another 30-50 who were at the Scotland game would have been there too.

SCDave
Fair play to the fans, did feel bad for the ones having to leave with 15 mins to go. Spoke to a few of the players before the game and it seems it was a cost related decision not to fly over the night before. There was a lot of standing around before warmups which is a shame as the fans forced to leave early could easily have seen the whole match. Made the mistake of chatting to a few Accies fans before the game, however it was nice to hear "'Well, 'Well, F*ck yer 'Well" again in person Pics from the game Edited September 11, 2023 by SCDave
