BAFCyellowandblack
The latest step in improving Bellshill athletic and hopefully helping us to keep pushing up the ladder the new scheme follows on from the pretty successful ‘our hill’ that was put in place last season to try and boost fan involvement and for me has been very successful in doing so the new scheme however looks to involve fans more in the way the club is run with members being able to attend and vote on matters brought up at the clubs AGMs I feel this is a positive step by the club which now brings the current committee club sponsors and fans onto the same page as we look to continue this successful season and look to building into the future for Bellshill athletic and the Bellshill community
Craig fae the Vale
Finnart 2-3 Vale of Leven A fantastic second half in horrible conditions sees us pick up a brilliant three points on the road. Home briefly to warm up before Arab Strap tonight!

bc57
Although in the cup, a significant away win for Lanark today at Bellshill. We were a completely different team when they beat us in Lanark in the summer. Long way to go.

bc57
By my calculations Lanark have won 19 points from 24 in the 8 games that the new management team have been in charge, scoring 16 and conceding 8 goals in the process. Won 6, lost 1 and drawn 1 In the previous 5 games before they took over we won 2 points in 5 games, scoring 4 and losing 12 goals. We are on the right track , despite an horrendous injury list. Won 1-2 at Girvan today. Nothing between the 2 teams IMO. Other than the goals we crashed the bar with a thundering header and their keeper made an excellent stop from the rebound. Girvan had a first half chance that should have been tucked away. Chucky Watt did what Chucky Watt does. The pie was good and the sausage roll was excellent.
Father Ted
Dalry Thistle 4 Lesmahagow 4 On a dreich day, with the wind playing a big part in the game. Dalry took the lead against the run of play. Gow equalised not long after. Dalry regained the lead just before half time. Went 3-1 ten minutes into second half. The Gow then scored three, with last of those being with ten minutes to go with new signing Gregg Miller, Robbie Duddy and Paul Woodlock instrumental in come back. Five minutes to go, Dalry pushing for equaliser, they scored a belter from 25 yards. The Gow need to toughen up and hold leads, starting to become a feature this season. A draw away would normally be seen as good, considering the circumstances it was disappointing. Go to a Gow game to see the goals go in. 72 in 13 matches is great value for money

PossilYM
Great to see an ambitious outfit like Finnart Star in 2nd top spot and going for it. Hopefully out of Springburn Park this Spring/Summer and into Crownpoint on the Gallowgate. All the best for 2024
Craig fae the Vale
Vale of Leven 1-0 Port Glasgow A scrappy game with more red cards than goals, but a great three points to kick off 2024 and put us second in the table!
bc57
Shock of the day has to be top of the table Bellshill drawing at bottom of the table Kello who won only their 6th point of the season. Vale of Leven and Threave in good form. Only Kello have scored fewer goals than Lanark Lots of twists and turns in the coming months
bc57
We've only had 2 home games in the past 3 months, and one of those was in the cup. Not at all good for the finances.

I was looking forward to visiting Moor Park last week before it froze solid, hopefully will still be a Saturday visit in April or May, one of my favourite places to visit.
