Third Division 23/24

Recommended Posts

Here's looking to another brilliantly competitive league this coming season. Will be very interested to see how the promoted teams do, and in particular I'm hoping we'll be fighting at the right end of the table this time around.

Vale season tickets are available at this link https://app.fanbaseclub.com/Fan/SeasonTickets/SelectClubTicket?clubId=164&saleWindowId=204 and individual tickets to our pre season programme are also available on Fanbase.

Here's to 2023/24!

You should have put this as first post Craig so that the thread is in chronological order. But we'll leave my OCD aside for now.

Edit: apologies to @GNU_Linux I seem to keep treading on your toes so to speak. Need to learn my place and stay there. You can still put in grounds and complete the job properly. 😗😗

Big pre-season news coming out of West Park.

Iain Kennedy and entire staff moving to St.Rochs.

A big July for West Park. How many players will follow on the same short journey down to JMP?

Clydesdale Cup Semi Final

Lanark United 1 Lesmahagow 4

Gow in control 2-0 half time. Lanark came more into after half time and got a goal for their efforts.

The Gow then scored within a few minutes to make it 3-1. Scored late on to wrap things up.

We await the winners of Carluke Rovers v Forth Wanderers tomorrow night to see who we play in final.

David Goodwillie: Glasgow United says rapist 'deserves a chance'

Great innit? Trawled literally all over the world and no-one will give him house room (correctly). WoSFL need to have a word with the club IMO. Again, it's becoming a home for the undesirable elements of the game.

Noticed the love heart logo on the back of the shirt. Turns out it encircles a number of sponsors including Glasgow Girls & Women FC and some charities. As well as fans and sponsors embroidered on the back.

"Detail/Notes - Home shirt worn for Glasgow United during the 2021/23 season. It features a map of Glasgow across the front of the shirt, with a special edition of fans names on the reverse. The shirt also features local sponsors in a heart shape on the rear of the shirt. This shirt really unites Glasgow as one."

Even if they're split on this issue. You've got to imagine a number of those people won't want him playing in a kit bearing their name.
