Who do we think James Cameron will cast in the movie then?

You would imagine only a rescue would result in a movie though.

Otherwise theres no real drama to be had. Rich men go in makeshift submarine, which they take into, and subsequently succumb to, an incredibly hostile enviroment.

James Cameron undoubtedly praying for a last ditch rescue in which the sole survivor is plucked out of the submarine somehow covered in warpaint, speaking some sort of hybrid language he invented whilst he was picking the last scraps of meat off the corpses of the other 4. THAT, would be a story.....

Bit like all these 'mountaineers' that summit Everest.

Can you afford the fee? Yes? Cool, clip on that rope and off you go.

It's these saps who think they're officially astronauts because of going up and down for about 5 minutes on Jeff Bezos's phallic fairground ride that get me.

Is it really?

Is it any different than a boy on £30k spending money to go and see the likes of Stonehenge?

Aye because you're unlikely to die a horrible death looking at some stones on a hill. These c***s wants to look at a shipwreck for hundreds of thousands of pounds and are risking their lives to do so. You can say it's their money and they can do what they want with it, and you'd be correct. But I say they are a bunch of silly wankers and I am also correct.

Saw a video where someone worked out that the 250k to this lot works out at roughly 3 tesco meal deals to the average person.

To be fair, I only used Stonehenge as a terrible example. There would be a lot more people doing it if it was more affordable, I think there is a strong whiff of jealousy on the part of people because of the cost but it's most likely pocket change to these folk.

On day one of me being in charge Mountain Rescue is getting abolished in this country.

If nutters in Nepal want to keep looking for stranded idiots, let them.

Piers Morgan doubling down on his claim that the people inside the submarine are heroes by saying that anyone who risks their life for exploration is heroic is possibly the worst take I have seen on this debacle so far.

Piers Morgan, WAGs, Holly & Phil, Radio 1. You are the most uncultured person on P&B throbber.
