I send off some c**t that was trying to tell me how to do my job.

I think refs should be far harder on some of the dissent and abuse they get, so I don't disagree with your point but don't get why the hand waving is singled out.

Fair enough If they are cracking down on it all dissent!

It's a step.in the right direction, and probably singled out because unlike asking the question, it's a public, open questioning of the ref....

Exactly this, its not done just to question the referee, its publicly undermining him, same with the mini tantrums and exaggerated shocked expressions.

ETA: not that Taylor didn't deserve a public shaming for that performance.

In what way is it 'publicly undermining him'?

The players are asking the referee to book someone for what they deem a foul. It's no different to players claiming for throw ins or corners they're clearly not entitled to.

It's not up to the players to ask for a booking though. Referee makes his decision, get on with it, without playing up to the crowd like a spoilt wean.

You should tell that to, em, every single footballer, at every single level, and every single age group, that has played a game of organised football with a referee, across the globe, over the last 30+ years, because they are very definitely not aware.

It's always the users with default profile pictures and a random assortment of letters that look closer to a password.

Which makes you wonder why grown men are 1 - reading them, 2 - taking them seriously or 3 - screenshotting them and posting them for attention. At least Everton can score some good PR points off the back of it..

I think we can all agree that catering prices at the football are alarmingly out of touch but I feel the need to draw attention to this one in particular

Dearie me.

Imagine standing in the queue at the pie kiosk and seeing "Scotch Egg - £5.50" and thinking aye, I'll have that. Just as culpable as the robbing b*****ds making/selling them.
