Neville is right that a minority investment is clearly the wrong path and is just more Glazers bullshit and siphoning money out the club.

The minority investment is money going into the Glazers pocket for no control over the club as a whole. Which means the people giving the money are not doing it to have a play thing but purely as a capitalist endeavour to extract as much return on their investment as possible.  As long as the Glazers remain there is no real possibility of Man Utd turning it around and getting back to seriously competing for the title and champions league.

Th whole ethos of Man Utd right now is paying off intesting and paing out dividends.

They've only paid $1.26/share  in dividends over a decade and are currently trading at $17.69

When you say it like that it doesn't sound like a lot but there are a lot of shares. it is over $200m in total or $20m per year if my maths are correct.

And that is just dividends. Nearly $1b has been paid out in bank interest over the Glazer period just in servicing the interest.

So $1.2B at least paid out supportign the owners of the club while the debt continues to grow.

It's worth remembering that this is a plc that turns over about 3/4 of a billion dollars a year. They can take it

For comparison They've spent $160M on the services of Harry Maguire

Nonetheless all that debt taken on when money was cheap must be stinging a little in the new era of higher interest rates

I’d love all these foreign owners of English clubs to fcuk off to Saudi or wherever the owners live. 😂

In Scotland get Dermot Desmond to take Celtic “home” to Ireland.
And The Rangers can go back in the sewers with the rats.

Hibs would end up in Peru and Dundee in Texas

Potentially Ross County moving from Dingwall to Invergordon, not sure how well that would go down with the locals 😄🦌

Grim reading for Everton. Didn't realise they were in so much trouble. I suspect the fact the new stadium has been put forward for the Euro 2028 tournament will at least mean it will get finished. Feck knows how they will finance it though if this takeover falls through.

Nice to see Newcastle did a thorough research in to his background before signing him. Milan probably knew this was about to drop. Sold a pup is the term I think.

Probably just assuming that enough #dolla to the right pocket will solve the issue. They've yet to be proven wrong in fairness.

Apparently Juve were touting their boy around Europe at a heavily discounted rate all summer and there weren't any takers. Tonali supposedly wouldn't ever have got caught (or the boy on loan at Villa) if the Juve boy never handed his phone over.
