It's worth remembering that players from ye olde black and white days were chain smokers and alcoholics who played after twelve hours down the pit and were up against teams similarly composed of brickies and PE teachers, and none of them actually had to move because the pitches were swamps anyway. Comparing that to today's finely honed athletes who are coached to within an inch of their lives and have to wear sports bras to generate graphs showing how much they move is redundant.

He's got pace and very little else, certainly not a good finisher.

The pen save? Now any penalty save is a good one given the odds against the goalie but I think Pickford was on the poor end of attempts. He went down very early and was still unlikely to get to an even ok placed pen. Gordon does the simple thing and roll it Into the opposite side then Pickford is being looked at for those mistakes.  Only cos Gordon f**ks it and he gets to act the hero.   He doesn't even get credit for mind games, young played that role
