Tommy Conway is out for up to 3 months after getting injured in Bristol City's first game of the season. Probably ruins any chances he had of pushing to make the jump from the u21s to the senior squad for the foreseeable future.

He was a good shout for a bolter into the cyprus squad for me, really need a strong 2nd choice keeper and a young striker to push their way into the squad this season

Calvin Ramsay update:

Quote

Yeah, he's had a little setback -that’s why he hasn’t been in the squad.

I’ve just been told about some rumors of him going back to Liverpool and stuff – that is a load of nonsense. I don’t know where you get it from or who says it, but Calvin has got a 12-month loan agreement with us. He’s had a little setback and we’ll make sure we get him fit and ready for when he’s available.

I know what has happened but I am not going to tell you. When there is news to tell you we will tell you, but for now he’s just had a setback and he is doing what he needs to do.

Dykes Update:

Lyndon, very close as well. I know he's desperate to get to the international break playing England in that little two weeks - he's definitely playing that one.

Lyndon's not as bad as we thought. Like I said last week he was close to making the squad for last week. The next couple of days will tell on Lyndon again. He took a whack on his knee and that's something we won't take a risk on, but obviously he's got the internationals to come up and Lyndon's keen to get fit for that.

Is Scott McKenna o.k. ?

Still too early to know. Forest have a game against Burnley on Wednesday but the Scotland squad will probably be before then.

Scott, I'm not too sure - he felt his hamstring.

Ryan Porteous and Kevin Nisbet were unfortunately taken off with injuries this evening, no idea yet about the nature or severity of the injuries. One positive is that Liam Cooper made his return from injury playing about 30 minutes.

Quote

I don’t know [how bad his knock is]. I heard Scottish guys are normally strong, so we will see tomorrow and assess the situation. He (Porteous) came back very tired from the international break last week, so we will see.

Nisbet I think – I’ve just watched it again down there – and there’s no one around him and he just almost turned his ankle. It looks quite bad but I don’t know until a couple of days [later and it] settles down. I’d imagine he’s going to be out for certainly the weekend and depending on scan results then we’ll see. It didn’t look great but again it’s impossible for me to say at this moment in time.

Gunn off injured

Better now with the tournament months away. Not bad timing with Craig Gordon getting half of a bounce game for Hearts, Kelly & Clark having had their debuts recently and qualification already wrapped up.

Che Adams was substituted at half-time after picking up an injury in Southampton's game away at Preston last night. I haven't seen any details on the severity or timescale.

He’s picked up an injury and it’s frustrating. It’s really frustrating for him and for us.

There's going to be no one left.  It's going to be the opposite of 2007, and we'll have the 16-year-old debutants.

Ryan gauld will be on the edge of his seat here.

Although in saying that could also see this scenario playing out:
