PauloPerth Posted September 23, 2023 Share Posted September 23, 2023 If James Brown can’t do basic defending like being aware of his man when a ball is cleared in anticipation for it coming back into the box, then what’s the point in him? The one thing he was previously was fairly reliable defensively, but that’s poor again from him. Our midfield looks okay, and our shape has been mostly decent. We knew we’d be susceptible to a ball over the top/ in the channel but after the early scare we’ve coped not too bad. Think May has played well dropping off and linking up but can’t believe the way Hibs are allowing him to do it when there’s no one else up front. Carey and Robinson showing promise down the left and some of Carey’s crosses have been okay, but what’s the point? We’re not going to win any aerial balls into the box. He’d be better driving in so it opens up for a cut back or driven ball across. Drey Wright needs to be less of a shitebag and get involved.
