Are we playing well or are Dunfermline really poor so far?? Sounds like we’ve had loads of chances and hoping that doesn’t come back to bite us second half.

Dunfermline poor and we’ve not finished them off with the chances we’ve had (especially McKenzie)

Mixture of both. Dunfermline are all over the place at the back and Syla and big Aggie have controlled the midfield to the extent Albinson hasn't had anything to do. A very impressive 45 from Ayr but Pars were woeful.

Ayr's passing is much improved on earlier in the season but Dunfermline aren't making it hard. Ahui looks much better than people said he was. McKenzie couldn't finish his dinner.

On a par with the Peter Grant days that. Any one of the starting 11 could have been hooked. We had an amazing chance right at the start, and it’s just went all downhill from there. Somehow Ayr are only a goal up. They have totally humped us. We have looked completely lost. But at 1-0, it’s a game if we get a goal quick, it’ll flip everything in our favour. Just can’t see how we do that. Don’t look up for it at all today.

McKenzie should have two, but it is poor to just completely batter him without acknowledging how his general performance has contributed to ours so far.

The ball is definitely sticking well in the final third. The misses completely overshadow any good play though, because they were so glaring.

I don’t disagree, but it isn’t fair to just say he is shit and offers nothing when he clearly has.

Dunfermline started brighter, which is a worry as our defence is generally shite. Hopefully we are going for the old -absorb pressure and then break quickly rather than the old Bullen tactic of, we are a goal up, let’s try not to lose it and play 11 men behind the ball before conceding 5

Zero confidence we can keep a clean sheet, so not getting that 2nd goal is going to hurt I suspect.  McKenzie can do all the hard work he wants 40 yards from goal, but all confidence deserts him the moment he sets foot in the box.
