Fife Derby: Raith Rovers vs Dunfermline Athletic

Recommended Posts

The pars no3 is an utter tit. Nobody knew what was happening at the corner at the end and he went absolutely mental, totally lost the plot 🤣. Anyway, poor performance from us on the whole. Last years team would have lost that match. Delighted with the 3 points keeps the pressure on UTD. Have a nice weekend Rovers fans.

Terrible performance from us for most of the match. Balls forward not reaching their man balls into the box too close to their keeper. Having said that, Dabrowski was immense today.

Several players out injures, limited bench and Dunfermline still can't get a result against us.

For such a big team Dunfermline can't even break 2k away fans and are going about their business brilliantly to get relegated.

Very pleasing win in the end, especially when you see Chris Hamilton completely losing it at the end.

That would be a good point if we fielded anywhere near a full strength team ourselves.

I has been pointed out that Easton knew he was getting subbed and was playing hide and seek with the referee 🤣🤣🤣

Sorry how many players did you have out today?

Kane-Richie Hosler and Matty Todd are 2 of our best and most influential players. Our captain went off at half-time and another CH off in the second half. Ben Summer was also missing and has put in a couple of MOTM performances so far this season.

Easton ❤️

Comes on late, gets the assist, winds up half the Pars team, gets booked and then subbed back off.  What a guy.

KRH has not kicked a ball in the Championship, he may be good but may not. We played the entire game with a central midfielder as a center half as Keith Watson is out injured. We also had no number 9 with Hamilton and Gullan both missing. Our captain has also not kicked a ball all season.

Ah ok. Wondered what was happening then it all erupted.

Moffat looked to be a decent player, although should have done better with a chance or two, but Jakubiak, appropriately for this time of year, is an utter guiser.

Dabrowski's double save was superb. He's fairly settled down.

Both shots looked straight at him to me, would be horrified if keeper conceded either.

A poor spectacle overall but not a game we ever should have lost. However, got what we deserved for attempting to settle for a goalless draw with half an hour to go.

Goal was terrible defending and it allowed Rovers to nick three points when they’d barely threatened all afternoon. Just asking for it when you sit back like that.

Felt we were actually pretty decent for the first hour or so and certainly should have been in front. McCann’s knock seemed to hurt us and the injuries for Bene and Fisher are real blows as well.

Three defeats in a row now and haven’t scored a goal during that spell. With a tricky game at Cappielow on Friday - followed by free-scoring United arriving at EEP - could be fast approaching a really tricky spell for McPake.

Have to say, scenes before the game in town were just ridiculous, as were the handbags from players and coaching staff at the end. Reflects poorly on all involved.
