That was a comfy first 45 for Utd. Will be more of the same in the 2nd half unless Thistle turn up.

A miracle that we’re not completely out of this game already. Come into it a tiny bit in the last 15 minutes, but still not at it. The Fitzpatrick chance shows that we still have players who can cause them issues though. 

We’ll need United to do something very stupid for us to take anything, imo.

You said he should have scored originally. Maybe he should have got it on target at least but it wasn’t the clear cut chance you’re making it out to be.

After about 25 minutes United started to delay the ball going into the box. This led to the forwards delaying their runs into the box and killed off United's early momentum.

1-0 flatters us, United should be out of sight here.

A collective of shite performances so far from some of our usually reliable players. Some of it was United being excellent in their pressing, but even when we had decent space in attacking areas, our use of the ball was dreadful. The set pieces in particular were abysmal.

The first sentence literally said he should have got it on target. Really bizarre why you're making an issue of this tbh.

And I believe he really should have scored as well. Goes down as a massive chance to equalise. Bit of composure and it's a likely goal.

I worry that the last 15 minutes not being quite as shite as the first 30 might lead to us doing more of the same. 

This could easily go the same way as the game at Firhill, a stupid red card for Graham or Muirhead or a second yellow for Stanway are very much in play.

He had all the time in the world to place it, should've done better. Only thing Partick have done that looked even half decent, and it was totally wasted.

Yeah, looked like one of those "done the hard part and fluffed the easy bit" chances you see fairly often, especially at this level.
