The Fifers' v The Blue Toon 20/1

Recommended Posts

Looks like we might be coming out of our injury problems. There were only 11 fit players during the week but signing two loanees and getting a few half fit players back made the difference.

As an example of how bad our injuries have been, even the kit man has a broken ankle.

Thought the game changed in the second half when we reverted to fast pressing and got our reward for that.

The standard of refereeing in this league can leave a lot to be desired. East Fife fans were moaning about Austin being flagged off side when he was on. Go back seven days to our trip to Stranraer when Orr was a mile offside but the linesman's flag stayed down and he went on to score.

Its swings and roundabouts with the officials this season and every team has similar stories.

Special mention to the couple of East Fife players that went down injured in the last few minutes that added that extra couple of minutes on to allow us to equalise...cheers lads 👍

Noticed although some of them looked as if they had been shot none of them took a chance of being carried off on the stretcher/trolley after the carry on they had on our last visit.

All depends on the type of bullet used. If it had been a hollow point then that certainly would justify the good old stretcher. I'm guessing the shooter missed.
