It must be a while since Five Live last had commentary from a match at Dens.

Was thinking that. Sutton was bamming chappers up on the Monday night club about it last night

Be Kelly Cates and Pat Nevin I reckon.

11am pitch inspection.

Rain all day and night forecast from lunch time tomorrow.  It will get the nod probably, no matter the state of the pitch. Will be interesting to see how it copes with play when actually raining.

The SPFL have made an absolute pigs ear of this. They should have moved both the game at the weekend and tomorrow night to a neutral venue last week and been done with it.

Why would you move the game on Saturday when a playable pitch was already available?

Thats debatable. My point is, this uncertainty for clubs, players and fans is unacceptable so a quick decision to move both games would have been much preferable, the sooner this is done the easier it is to resolve any logistical problems.

Why didn’t they move your game at the weekend to a neutral venue?

Because we don't have a ploughed trough as a pitch.

That’s not the basis for a pitch being unplayable.

I’ll ask again - why didn’t they move your game at the weekend to a neutral venue.

Clement having a whine and a whinge about the pitch on 'stv news'.

STFU, and get your bunch of overpaid divers/hair band wearing fannies, up here, pitch is fine.

Thank you.

Because we've had 0 games postponed this season while Dundee have had a lot off, due to the state of a really dodgy pitch, because you have the ignominy of one week being the only professional game in the UK called off, because kids games in Dundee went ahead with no issue while you needed 3 inspections before your weekend game was passed fit to play, a decision which Motherwell disagreed with.

So that, in a nutshell, is why no other games should have been moved to neutral venues but yours should have been.

Thank you.

Our pitch was playable on Saturday.

Was St Mirren’s pitch playable on Saturday?

Sorry but why is it debatable?  The pitch was declared playable.  Are you suggesting the pitch was not playable?

Better still, are you wanting to go on record to say the match official was “under pressure from his employer”,   ignored a “massive hazard” and placed the players in danger?  A certain other poster claimed this at one point but appeared to back away from that when challenged about it.

Oh FFS 😫

It’s a straightforward question. However, if you can point out the part that’s causing you confusion, I will happily try to simplify it.
