In the first four games after that we scored 12 and conceded 1 and picked up 12 points. I cannot help think that if these injuries hadn’t occurred he would have stuck with the tactics you describe with the likelihood of far less impressive results. Thats true but its not the answer either, those tactics didnt work in the Game against Ayr so he went back to 4-3-3 and it won us the game.

Claudia Gentile
On his pre-match interview, Doolan emphasised, indeed overemphasised, striking a balance on Friday as we start the playoffs on Tuesday. Stanway and Milne are available again so could see either of them get at least a decent 20/30 minutes tonight Ngwenya spoke very well and it would be harsh for him to drip out of the starting eleven. He stated how he saw United being lethargic last Friday and it would be a good chance to get a positive result up in Dundee. Doolan was a bit more reserved but just stated we would play our way as we could not be sure how the opposition will be setup and their levels of motivation I can see United trying to get out the blocks quickly then maybe tail off. I wouldn't be surprised nor indeed upset with another draw to stretch our unbeaten run heading into the mania of the playoffs. TL;DR 0-0 Edited May 3 by Claudia Gentile

Monkey Tennis
Thank God the BBC have picked such a meaningful fixture with so much at stake to show tonight. I wouldn't miss this one for the world.

A team chasing third place in the second tier is probably more meaningful than any league game QoS have had in 50, maybe 60 years?
Claudia Gentile
Quite a strong United lineup.

Off you pop and psyche yourself up for another Bartley masterclass against ***checks seaside league fixtures*** Montrose. Not sure why you're being quite so silly here. It's a meaningless fixture. United have already won the League and barring a wildly unlikely goal difference shift, Thistle have already secured third place, which only carries a minor advantage over finishing 4th anyway. Meanwhile, a couple of genuinely meaningful games are taking place elsewhere in the division. None of that has the remotest relevance to the uncontested facts that Queens are currently hopeless and have a dreadful manager. Neither does it support the laughable, yet still irrelevant claim, that Queens haven't faced as meaningful a fixture in 50-60 years.
