SFA and wosfl don't state and looking at the darvel post it seems suggested the league allow it. I think it raises an interesting question if an spfl club loan to to a non spfl club what would be the deal if they met in the scottish cup.
Thejackdaw
Does anyone actually know the person who does the official darvel twitter? Asked a question earlier regarding Kyle hutton and the gentleman agreement and was given a big reply with the guy hutton smiling on camera celebrating the win yesterday. The guy comes across as a total clown and darvel seem pretty much the same, we've saw the money men come and go but clubs with the cash seem to instantly turn into dick heads.

Well they mentioned the SPFL who it also has nothing to do with, so probably wanted to cover all their bases/governing bodies. The LL rules do not ban it either. 2 hours ago, parsforlife said: I think it raises an interesting question if an spfl club loan to to a non spfl club what would be the deal if they met in the scottish cup. Rule 12.3 does not allow any loan players to play against their parent club. Edited April 29 by Ginaro

The SPFL don't run The Scottish Cup.

I’m not Maxwell, but if something is agreed in a contract surely that’s got to be honoured? I’ll be interested to see Pollok’s response (if any at all) to Darvel’s very poorly worded statement. Surely someone checks the content before it’s posted?
