Utdtillidie2
This is hilarious. It’s a pile on Kenny Miller, and rightly too. Faddy’s having none of it!
Sting777
Call the men with the white coats for Miller. Boyd, Lennon, McFadden and Sutton all agree stonewall red. Miller still saying never a red. Hopefully talking himself out of a job!!

I think he might have just settled or taken a break from the intensity of a top league. Maybe he's just realised that ambition isn't everything. He's happy. He loves Celtic, loves Glasgow, gets paid well and doesn't have to work as hard.

But he is still very likely to win the league by breaking ninety points and without losing an Old Firm game, with a weaker squad than Postecoglou had last season, and has a good chance of winning the Scottish Cup too. You can argue that is bare minimum territory, and it probably is for Celtic, but it's surely not sacking territory either - and the chances of them actually recruiting a better manager than Rodgers feel very low anyway.

The argument a couple of pages back, unless I have misinterpreted it, was that they should sack him in the summer and be brave to push on.

Title won etc., but watching Rodgers act as if hes achieved something, and presumably his gloating about how he "always gets the job done" after the match will be embarrassing tbh. If Celtic were brave they'd sack him regardless this Summer and try to actually push on, but suspect simply beating Rangers to the title in this manner will be good enough to keep him. Once again , it will be interesting to see what happens in Europe .

Intersting might be the wrong word since we know already what will happen. Beyond doubt though, is that it will be fucking hilarious

AJF
Lunacy from Lundstram cost us any chance of getting back into that game. Absolutely brainless challenge to make after just scoring to halve the deficit. Especially after a horrendous own goal. Even before that though, we seemed to be chasing shadows with Celtic finding so much space in midfield and managed to get multiple shots off from the edge of the box. It was only a matter of time before we were punished, with O’Riley afforded space and time to pick his spot. Butland, Silva and maybe Dessers the only players that come out with any credit after that display and Clement really has to be scrutinised for our starting line up. Barisic was terrified any time Forrest got the ball. We know he crumbles at Celtic Park so even a half fit Ridvan should’ve been in there from the start. I also found the comments of Miller very odd considering it was a pretty clear cut red card. I also felt O’Riley bought the penalty. Yes there was contact but he planted his foot before throwing himself to the ground, but maybe not enough to overturn the decision. Poor penalty regardless and Butland’s first penalty save for us, I believe. Edited May 11 by AJF
DavieCFC
Game kinda sums up our season. Play really well, should be out of sight but miss lots of chances, fall out the game and it leads to a nervy finish. Callum MotM for me, was the key part in everything good we did. HM to Daizen Meada, player who everyone knows can be frustrating with has rather erratic end product, but the work rate he provides is absolutely invaluable to the team.

None of the above makes any sense But will be heard week in week out Football has completely lost the plot on this issue and now resembles football/wwe combo
