Shanner
Good signing. He's still a massive presence at the back even if he's not at his peak.
Sir Kenneth of Eadie
We need to be a bit Gallus to progress. We paid a visit to the Premier in our old format with that attitude. It’s not all about money. A Good signing bye the bye.

Yes indeed a big guy to beat still even if some of the sharpness has gone.

If you had seen his last season at Talbot you would realise that his best days are gone. Not criticising him as he was a brilliant keeper for 10 seasons.

Far better with some spud from Ashfield or a crappy boy on loan eh?

Talbot have a good record of bringing relatively unknown young players through and developing them into the sort of guys you can build a team around for the next 5 - 10 years. Exactly like we did with Andy funnily enough. I'm sure he would have been welcomed back with open arms but he's not going to last forever so we'd only have been kicking the need for a new goalie down the road for a season until we needed to find his replacement.

Disrespectful to Ashfield and a young professional footballer making his way in the game. All the best trying to win your first trophy in the WOSL.

Yeah he's 35. This will mibbee be his last move youdve thought. Hopefully he gives us a bit of consistency between the sticks and steadies defence. GK and CM were our 2 key areas to strengthen so that's been done. Hopefully add 1 or 2 others before start of season.

Its an absolute nonsense to suggest that Talbot wouldn’t take him back in a heartbeat. He’s 35 not 45!
