Don’t have to press or push, let them chase it if they want and hit them on the break. If they don’t want to we will take the 1-0. Second goal would be nice but we don’t need it if they aren’t going to offer anything, and they haven’t looked like they will. It’s playing someone like Morton at home. Christ knows we should win, but we’ve failed to win enough of these over the years to know it’s not quite done yet. In terms of our performers I like Shaun Rooney a lot, he’s that goal threat we’ve lacked at right back since Strain left. He’s been brilliant, well taken header. Got all the makings of a St Mirren cult hero, fantastic signing. On the keeper, i was worried we’d settle for someone of a similar standard to Hemming, and lose points as a result.
