General Election 2024

Recommended Posts

There must have been some incredible overweighting going on in the polling for the SNP. There's not been a single seat that they haven't dropped over 10%.

Some channel give me Bristol Central on air please.

BBC now predicting just 6 for the SNP

Even if their gains fail to materialise that would make it touch-&-go to finish behind Conservative & Unionists... hasn't happened since 1992 (which was also last time SNP finished 4th).

TUV challenging to win North Antrim.

And 154 for.the Tories. Reform down to 4 (presumably Tice the other one).

Have to say I'm struggling to see how the Tories get there but we'll see.

SNP on single figures is an absolute disaster for them. Where do they go from here?

Swinney has to ensure that they get their act together in Holyrood. Ten plus years of well-intentioned glacial sleeping at the wheel must end.

If accurate this result would not only see SNP fall behind Lib Dems (by a country mile) but probably DUP too even if they lose 1-2 seats.

Presumably have an impact on PMQs, committees and funding?
