Just caught the replay when flicking over, but why was that shirt tug on Ronaldo not penalised?

Not sure who your commentators are in Scotland but we have Mark Clattenburg chiming here in the States for refereeing decisions. I didn’t personally see the first part but he said Ronaldo was grabbing the Georgia players arm at the start so would’ve never been given the penalty by VAR

A 39 year old playing in Saudi Arabia is a bit pish. Who'd have believed it?

He's wasted more energy in greeting than playing. Saying that he'll more than likely score in the 2nd half😁

We finished 9 points ahead of them with a substantially better goal difference.

I was waiting for the first person to attempt to say that actually Georgia are better than us, as a defence of Clarke 😂

Kind of proves the point, doesn't it? They're a hot and cold team because they are, on the whole, shite and are very reliant on playing in a way that allows their two excellent forwards to carry them

Acting like the only difference between us and them is that we play shitebag tactics and they don't. Just an idiotic notion.

Are you whooshing us? 40-odd years would include Dalglish, Cooper etc before we even get to the Dundee Utd/Aberdeen teams of the mid 80s.

20-odd? Fair enough but 40-odd? No fucking chance.

All of those players were produced in the 60s n 70s. Who's debuted since 1984 and been better? Nobody for me.

You didn't originally say,, "produced", you said, "players we've had". Are we arguing over whether talent is the result of the reproductive process? FFS, enjoy your night.

When you see Georgia’s performances in all three games at this tournament, you wonder why they didn’t do better in our qualifying group.

It was raining

Well that's what I meant. Really sorry that my wording of something you mostly agree with has upset you to this degree 🙏

Ronaldo mastered what I call the "Ronaldo"; running fast, flick your leading leg on to your back leg with a defender tight to you. Time it perfectly, it looks like a pen, commentators will talk about how there was contact etc but he actually tripped himself. Got away with it and won penalties for years.

The best player I have seen for Dundee, more important than Caniggia, Caballero or Sara.

Would've like to have seen more of Ketsbia and would've liked to have made more money from Khizanishvili.

That thought went through my mind when we played them in Tbilisi.
