Was expecting some rotation for today's Airdrie line up but that is a LOT!

It is but being able to call on the likes of Mochrie and McGrattan isn’t to be sniffed at this early stage. Might be a different story come the league campaign though.

Beautiful chip finish from McGrath.

Great having the benches right under the cameras - must be due an apology soon for the bad language given it isn’t 5,000 folk singing about dying a f****n b*****d

Mochrie and McGrattan (despite his goal) have been well off what’s required. Amongst others, it feels very lazy today. Early days though.

Wingers need to step it up. Besuijen been quiet after the clamour from many to get him a start - Morris back to being Morris after a good first half in Dumfries

Nilsen in midfield looked a miss, but should be less of an issue now we’ve got a couple of goals.

EK look okay - certainly not this wide open defensive shambles they sounded  the other night, and tidy going forward.

"Straight from a free-kick, Leighton Clarkson triples the Dons' lead."

No he doesn't. They haven't gone from 2 up to 6 up.

Rooster of the Year

To be fair, for the first 20/25 he wasn’t far off being wrong.

And still 2-0 at HT. The guy really is a drivelling simpleton.

We'll need to play better in Tuesday's top of the table showdown.

Aberdeen to win and us to blow our chances by losing to that mob. Stick on.

Comfortable enough win by the sound of things.

It was. East Kilbride had a fair bit of the ball and did miss a sitter near the end at 4-0, but given that this was probably not close to our starting eleven, comfortable covers it. I was one who wanted to give Vinnie another chance, but he did nothing today. Morris would never be in my team from the start, but what a fantastic touch, run and finish for his goal.
