The Champions League (Cup) Group B + Ayr United

Recommended Posts

There's no way Ayr and Falkirk won't get the results they need to overtake us on Saturday.

It's not a given that second place will get through, so it will be interesting to see how the two teams approach their games. All out attack, I would guess. Unlike us.

Losing to Falkirk was bad, but taking the foot off the pedal at 3-0 up against Stenhousemuir may prove to be every bit as damaging.

A good old fashioned western style shoot out for goals goals goals on Saturday.

Ayr United 1-0 Buckie Thistle

Falkirk 2-0 Stenhousemuir

I'd take Falkirk to win 2-0 and Ayr to win 3-0

a result which will see us top the group, but more importantly see united finish 3rd with 9 points and everyone to utterly pish themselves laughing.  it's a fairly realistic prospect aswell!

I feel Falkirk got a bit of a reality check last night. While going a whole league season unbeaten you have to caveat it with the fact they were playing Plumbers, Joiners and guys that punt Herbalife on the side most weekends. If they want to establish them selves as a championship club again they will need to improve.

As far us we weren’t brilliant but were really solid against a gutsy Falkirk side. We’ve made 9 new signings over the summer with a couple more rumoured and they’ll take time to gel however the signs are positive.

Lol

Goal of the season from McIvor there 😀

With this and Nesbitt I really don’t understand fans who can’t even spell our own players’ names correctly.

Making 2 spelling mistakes in a 7 letter name is quite impressive

Buckie very unlucky not to get a draw today, Ayr looked quick and fit but, ultimately, a bit toothless........

Ridgers with some ridiculous saves too, definitely Jags' motm.

Behave yourself.

We could’ve been 5-0 up before they even scored their first goal.

And that’s fair enough.

But to say Buckie deserved a draw is moronic.

I didn't say they deserved one, I said they were unlucky not to get one.

Came pretty close to an equaliser right at the end of the game 🤷‍♂️
