Bullet dodged for the WoS League. Hopefully now the league can concentrate on the important matters of developing the league and aren't sidetracked by other matters.

Why is the west of Scotland  clubs  still  in the junior  scottish Cup. When they all chose to leave .its embarrassing  for the clubs that chose to stay junior  .the standard  of the cup has declined  with most of east not in it..so the west should  not partake  in the cup......also the bottom  league is like a total amateur league with teams playing  in public  parks and sharing  with other sides .I personally  think its a shambles  . Then Beith winning  league  for 2nd time can't move up the ladder ....its a nonsense

The Scottish Junior Cup is long past its sell-by date. Crowds have long been dwindling never mind this year’s poor final attendance.

Truth be told, it should’ve been binned the minute the WoS League got off the ground. Instead it plays havoc with the fixture list year in year out.

Instead we have desperate old blazers  trying to cling on to it for dear life.

I think someone on here mentioned there should be a new FA vase equivalent set up for what is essentially our ‘non league’ set-up.

That would be far more appealing to me I think and to potential sponsors.

The Scottish junior cup should always remain and if for no other reason  than purely and simply to annoy Clydebank reasons.

With the Bankies being fairly successful most of the time, compared to many, it is good to be reminded, now and again, of what it feels like to be annoyed. Especially by alleged supporters of what used to be such a wonderful old competition!

This might suggest otherwise.

While it is nice for the SJFA to be adding members. It does highlight some of the flaws that exist in the idea of an all-in cup dependent on guarantees and cut of the gate.

Nobody's wanting Drumchapel in a semi or final, but they're good enough to get there.

Sauchie and Dunipace won’t be able to play due to fixtures and the rest have about 20 fans between them 😂
