It's very strange. If he is playing week in, week out, he seems to get in good shape then as soon as there is any sort of break, it's back to out of shape almost immediately.

It’s not that really, there’s a clear gap in level between first choice and the back-up choices. Can’t blame Clarke for playing his strongest teams, our games have mainly been competitive ones.
