I'm sure there could've been a North v South or East v West in the line up somewhere. Good luck to Dalkeith though, who would've thought just a few seasons ago this would've been impossible? Their small committee deserve all the media attention they will get. Reward for being one of the pioneers of the East Region's move to the licensing/EOS in early 2018. Bonnyrigg and Hibs at home on the same day so chance of a bigger Friday night crowd.
Bad Wolf
It's yet another east coast conspiracy against BIG west teams! One of which I heartily approve, perhaps unsurprisingly. I went to a Dalkeith game once, at some point in the early 90s, but have never seen Broxburn, who may actually be quite good. Albania Rovers vs Astrakhan Talbot will be eye-bleeding anti-football.
Spyro
Do you reckon we'll see Jock in a tie?
HibeeJibee
I'm delighted for Dalkeith; and since coverage was extended BBC have never really chosen a 'small' pyramid club so it'll give hope to them all, plus more justification for mandatory floodlights... but I'm at a complete loss why this tie would be picked (unless external factor e.g. featuring youth or community?). It's not the 500th anniversary of Battle of Kings Park, or World Badgers Day ? Thistle have a very big club setup with kids + girls teams/etc., so hopefully they're planning to profile that. On paper it'd be a major surprise if the hosts could win given 3 tiers / 48 places below.
