Groundhopping Adventures
Celebrating that visibly is a minter from Clarke. Being happy with a point isn't.
Clubberlang
Been so concerned with Ralston all game I’ve not said how good mctommo and gilmour were tonight both superb

He is no Hickey but he is no different to Shankland as a striking option or McKenna as a centre half option. Folks banging on about him seem to be falling into the nonsensical scapegoat approach. Take your green glasses off he was utter mince ffs abysmal and miles off this level

He was never even that good anyway. Only signed for Liverpool because they were absolutely terrible at the time.

It’s our poor football skills, rather than any loser mentality, that prevents us winning games. I’m not a fan of draws but they are better than defeats. They should introduce the bonus point penalty shoot out to these tournaments. We have not lost a shoot out yet.
ScottishLoon
I've had enough of Clarkes whole speaking in a way where it's like he's definitively telling you how it is or how to think. Edited June 19 by ScottishLoon

Ffs. He is third choice - we had no option aside from McRorie who is probably on a par.
Ewanandmoreagain
Should McLean , the sweetie thrower , replace McGregor on Sunday ? As someone has said Gunn was a lot better tonight We stuck with a back three / five after KT had to go off Robbo was still a threat at LWB Presumably the Hungarians will target Ralston I thought McKenna was o.k. If BDD was going to be fit for Hungary we should have brought him McGregor did pass it to McGoals

RawB93
Considering his influence v Hungary I don't remember Xhaka having a single involvement tonight.

No he was shite, but he's the best we've got. It's not really his fault.

Braesoyetts
Satisfied with the result up to a point. Much more appetite and effort than against Germany, better tactically as well. Think the Swiss could have won it, but late on looked like we could have gotten something. Pretty fair for both teams. if we had a defence worthy of the name, we’d probably be dark horses to win the whole thing. Or at least to get out of the group stage. not too confident about beating Hungary, but if they play with the kind of effort and intensity they did most of tonight, we have at least a good chance. Oh and Clark needs to bring subs on much earlier - 4 minutes is not enough for Shankland or Christie to get to make an impact, though they did their best. next game I’d start with Shankland, and have McGinn play a bit further back.
