It's especially weird because unlike with Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union, the name 'Czechoslovakia' very clearly incorporates two modern day countries, both of which are playing in the finals of this very tournament. The fact that we're no longer actually dealing with Czechoslovakia (and haven't for 3 decades) could not be more starkly apparent.
