Lyle Lanley
Never been more nervous ahead of a football game. Will be the greatest feeling in the world if we win tonight Can’t wait to be in the stadium later to cheer them on to a win.

nate
1 hour ago, Biscuits said: Is it too early to start drinking?? No, but pace yourself… Noon: 2 Bloody Marys to settle nerves 1pm: Steaming plate of curry + trimmings washed down with bottle of Red. Few civilised glasses of Port to accompany cheeseboard. 3pm: Stroll to the Local for pints. On way back acquire bag of cans for house. Drink cans while watching YouTube footage of our past glories (if you can find them) 7pm: Conk out and miss match
TheScarf
Does any Scodland victory guarantee progression or is there the usual 2 and a half million permutations?

McTominay has to score a perfect hattrick in one half. During a lightning storm.

CM.
19 minutes ago, TheScarf said: Does any Scodland victory guarantee progression or is there the usual 2 and a half million permutations? There's still a chance that there'll be a 3rd placed team on 4 points in every group at which point it would come down to GD. That would require a remarkable set of results in the final games though so 4 should be enough. It's probably been discussed already but a draw could actually end up being enough too depending on results elsewhere but I'd rather just get that scenario out my head and focus on winning. johnnydun
I am excited for tonight, and I am going to be backing us for the win. However, I will not be surprised by us failing tonight. It's maybe just Hungary being 12 places above us, or their recent performances. But more than likely it's just because it's Scotland.

Go look at the BBC's euro tables. They have a table of 3rd placed teams. We are currently bottom of 6. Tonight we would go top with a win. For us not to qualify would take 4 of those teams then hitting 4 pts or more. That's not happening. The achievement was qualifying for this tournament in the first place. The real Euros trophy is all the friends we made along the way.
